Richard Moss holds bachelors degrees in arts and law from the University of New South Wales and is admitted as a barrister in New South Wales.
Richard has been the Director of the Institute of Judicial Studies since its establishment in 1998. Prior to establishing the Institute he was, from 1990 to 1996, National Director of the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, from 1990 to 1997, a judicial officer of the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal and, from 1987 to 1990, a lecturer in the School of Training for Trainers at Wellington College of Education.
For the past 17 years he has been involved in legal education and training in both New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.
